| Robert P. Schmitt, B.S., D.V.M. Dr. Schmitt is a graduate of the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University . After serving an internship, he started the South Deerfield Veterinary Clinic in 1973. His interests lie in both small and large animal medicine and surgery. | Karen K. Burand, B.S., DVM Dr. Burand is a graduate of the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her interest is in small animal medicine and surgery. She has been an associate at the South Deerfield Clinic since 1989.
